Role of the Assistant Governor • Assistant Governors are elected annually and can serve for a maximum period of three years. • The District Governor may delegate certain administrative duties to the Assistant Governors thereby involving them in the process of motivating, inspiring and educating all Rotarians in the District. • Each Assistant Governor has special responsibility for a group of clubs (approximately 10 clubs per A.G.) and is encouraged to develop a close working relationship with that group through visits and regular contact.
