  3. Keys to Communicating Clearly • Use phrases on a slide, not sentences • Have clear contrast between background and text • Spell text correctly • Do NOT overfill the slide with text and information Image: Speakers Bureau

  4. Gorgeous Style • Try to vary the way your slides look • Use graphics that are tasteful and cite them! • Graphics should be clear and relevant to your topic • Don’t overdo animations Image: Canadian Economic Department

Presentations Gone Wild • When you try to include a ridiculous amount of information and it make no sense then to are really messing things up and we are bored. • Often, animations and “do-dads” in the presentation distract the viewer and only make their job as audience harder. • This is a terrible way to present, and no graphics to interest the viewer.

  6. Bacround • Whin yer grafic is crazy then it ruins yer presintation • I hate when this happens, and so shuld U • If U R 2 kewl to rite like a normal person, then lol  :>) • This will only annoy your audience

  7. I am Falling Asleep!!!! • Try to stay away from boring us with garish colors and reading from the slide • We will be bored and then you will fail miserably • Stay focused and stay on task – save the “filler” for another project!
