TSM Entry • TSM Entry is a bundled offering with a single PID: 5725-Q58 • TSM V7.1, (Server or Backup/Archive Client) • TSM for Databases V7.1 • TSM for Mail V7.1 • TSM for Virtual Environments V7.1 • TSM for ERP V6.4 • TSM for SAN V7.1 • Licensed by the number of “Managed Servers” within the customer environment • A “managed Server” is anything protected by any one of the components above • $1300 for each managed server • Targeted for Windows and x-Linux/p-Linux customers • Supports up to 50 servers (equivalent to 100 TSM nodes) • Which may include up to 5 virtual host servers (example: ESX Host Server) • Target customers with 30 servers or less to allow for growth • Up to 2 TSM servers per customer • May be configured to automatically replicate data between 2 sites (for DR) • Unlimited disk capacity! Tape support for up to 4 drives/48 slots • Consider TSM SUR Entry if NDMP support is needed
