  3. ABOUT US Okusha was founded in 1997, when Dalene and David Baksa moved from Cape Town to Durban. Okusha is built on solid Christian foundations. Horses are the vehicle we use to reach people. Developing and growing our talents is how we worship and glorify Him. Okusha have received many accolades. Many of our riders have represented South Africa on the highest level in Equestrian Tent Pegging. Dalene Baksa is a not only an International Equestrian Tentpegging coach and manager; she is also a qualified SANEF Level One Instructor and a FEI Level One Instructor. She has been coaching since 1990, and has had the privilege to see many of her riders earn Protea colours. Dalene has also competed in the South African Ladies Team against countries like Pakistan, Namibia and England. Okusha is a family orientated riding school; nobody rides alone; and the kitchen is always open for a good cup of coffee and a deep meaningful conversation. Back
