  3. Rhyme • Similar sounds at the end of two or more words • When words have the same end sound. • Happens at the beginning, end, or middle of lines • Where • Fair • Air • Bear • Glare

  4. Repetition • Repeating of words or phrases or lines • Nobody No, nobody Can make it out here alone. Alone, all alone Nobody, but nobody Can make it out here alone.

  5. Alliteration • Repetition of consonant sounds • When the first sounds in words repeat. Example: • Peter Piper picked a pickled pepper. • We lurk late. We shoot straight.
