  1. Average Class Standing Quizzes Recitation Other Evaluation Average Class Standing (ACS) will form two-thirds of the grade for each grading period.   2. Quizzes • There will be five recorded quizzes every grading periods. • If more than five quizzes are given only the five highest scores are recorded, the lowest ones are eliminated. • Missed quizzes will be automatically marked zero. • No make up will be given to any missed quiz.

  3. Recitation • Recitation will include reports and oral presentations. • Recitation are expected every meeting and is therefore unannounced. • Recitation will be graded based on the seating plan. • Recitation marks will also depend on attendance and attitude in the class. • Recitation is computed cumulatively.

  4. Other Evaluation • Other evaluation will include the following: • Assignment • Seatwork • Project • Worksheet • Any missing component of other evaluation may be replaced by a quiz.

  5. Attendance • The attendance will be checked by the class monitor every meeting. • Tardiness will be recorded. Three instances of tardiness is equivalent to one absence. • Only 10 days of absences are allowed every student. Beyond that, a student is considered dropped from the class roll.
