Compromise Project • The primary goal: • Recapture the crown jewel of Annapolis – the waterfront • The ‘How’: Relocating ~200 cars off of City Dock creates 64,000 sf of new green space for parks, multiple playgrounds and more family-friendly activities. • Benefits to Anne Arundel County Public Schools • Improved, secure pick up and drop off lane • Two playground spaces on AACPS property • Ground lease income to the School • Eliminates the cost to AACPS of re-paving and landscaping • Eliminates the cost to AACPS of stormwater management • Vo-Tech education program provided at no cost to AACPS
