  1. Final-Term Project I: Chinese Oral Presentation • Individual Oral Presentation in Chinese • Topic: Movie • Suggested Info: you like watching movie or not, where and with whom you often watch movie, which movie star you like, which movie you like, why you like it, what you usually observe in the cinema, and any other info you would like to share regarding the topic of movie. • At least 5 slides

  2. Final-Term Project I: Chinese Oral Presentation • Slide Content: Chinese sentences in Pinyin (extra credit: typing Chinese characters); Punctuation; Pictures. At least 50% of characters we learned are seen in the sentences. • Before you start your presentation, introduce yourself orally with three sentences • Presentation Tools: PPT, Prezi, Moviemaker, Photostory,etc.

Final-Term Project II: Chinese Movie Presentation • Chinese Movie Presentation • Done by pairs or groups of three • A mandarin-speaking movie directed by Chinese directors. • Content (5 min.) • Slide One: wǒjièshào de zhōngguódiànyǐngshì 我介绍 的中 国 电影 是 Chinese movie’s name Picture: A poster of the movie.

Final-Term Project II: Chinese Movie Presentation • Slide Four • Movie Review (50 words): your understanding and thoughts about cultural themes, social issues , and historical or legendary stories that the movie explores, as well as a brief comparison of those topics and issues in China and the US.

Final Term Project III:Skit • Content (4 min.): • Done by pairs, groups of three or four • Any topic you are interested in, including a sequel of your mid-term skit that you could consider. • Integration of one Chinese art form in the skit, such as singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, calligraphy, or martial arts • At least four lines per person • At least one prop needed • At least 60% of characters we learned are seen in your script. • Scripts: Written in Pinyin; Extra Credit for Typing Chinese Characters
