This session led by Nancy Clark, M.Ed., Director of Medical Informatics Education at FSU College of Medicine, introduces students to the FSU COM virtual library resources essential for locating clinical information online. The objectives include identifying the nature of clinical questions (background vs. clinical), selecting appropriate resources based on the type of question (drug, disease, differential diagnosis), and understanding the depth of information available in various references. Objectives • Students will begin to utilize the FSU COM virtual library resources to locate clinical information online • Identify the type of question you have: background or clinical • Distinguish which type of resource would best answer a clinical question: drug, disease or differential diagnosis resource • Identify the type and depth of information contained in various resources. • Find answers to clinical questions in the library resources.
