Analysis of Vibrational Peak Assignments and Kinetic Energy Release in HBr Reactions

This study examines the vibrational peak assignments and kinetic energy release (KER) in the reactions of HBr with various ion states. It focuses on the intensity ratios of I(H⁺ + Br(1/2)) and I(H⁺ + Br(3/2)), alongside predicted KER values. The analysis includes investigation of recoil effects and peak splittings over different J' values. Key predictions and discrepancies are visualized through graphs, enhancing understanding of reaction dynamics and the relationship between vibrational modes and ion states in HBr.
