  2. Degeneration of the nervous system is caused by an autoimmune response that destroys the nervous tissue due to multiple sclerosis (MS). • MS may be caused by Genetic, environmental factors, and possibly even viral infection. Causes and Conceptiom

  3. Symptoms include: • Tingling sensation, much like when a limb is asleep. • Slurred speech • Blurry or doubled vision • Loss of coordination • Muscle weakness Symptoms

  4. Regular exercise may aid in the prevention of MS. Prevention

  5. Treatments may include: • Steroidal drugs to treat relapses of the disease. • Human interferons • Regular exercise Treatment(s)
