Course Instructional Goals • Introduce the different aspects of sensor networks: • Sensor hardware • Sensor data processing • Sensor communications and networking. • Study challenges and latest research results related to the design and management of wireless sensor networks with emphasis on networking aspects that include: • network architectures, • node discovery and localization, • routing protocols, • medium access protocols.
