The thematic function of imagery in "Recitatif”: Figurative language and conspicuous images?

  6. Assignment One • Write an essay where you answer one of the following assignments: • Analyse and discuss the thematic function of plot in "Recitatif”. In your essay, you must comment on story and plot and story time and plot time. • Analyse and discuss the thematic function of characterisation in "Recitatif”. In your essay, you must comment on character and characterisation. • Analyse and discuss the thematic function of imagery in "Recitatif”. In your essay you must comment on figurative language and conspicuous images.
