Complex technology for restoring the tire of the vehicle wheels running on the iron rails • Objectives : • Diagnosis(dimension , shape variation) of the wheels at the running vehicle • Wheels measuring for determination of the minimum machining allowance ,and their re-measuring after profile correction • A special machine tool for machining ,by a single pass, of the four wheel tires of the bogie ,without dissembling it • ELECTROZEP , a Romanian company , is ,so far , the only partner • Requirements with respect to additional partners: • Measuring equipment specialists for wheels profile/dimentions measuring • Data acquisition and processing equipments and specialists • Software specialists(Statistical Process Control included) • Testing&research facilities
