Should the Legal Driving Age Be Raised? Exploring Teen Driving Safety

My name is Jenna Burrell, and I conducted research on whether the legal driving age should be raised. I explored the necessity of driving for teens, the demands they face, and the role of parental guidance in their driving experience. To share my findings, I created a curriculum for driver’s education classes, which included lessons on safe driving practices, potential dangers, and alternatives to driving. With the support of my mentor, Officer Anthony Davis from the Raleigh Police Department, I aimed to improve teen driving safety through education.
