Tour of Historic Fort Street Presbyterian Church • Saturday, June 14 • 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. • One of the finest examples of Gothic Revival Architecture in this country, providing hope in Detroit for 165 years. Includes information on architecture, history, outreach ministries and much more. • Repeated Monday through Friday.

  5. More Light Presbyterians Celebration Dinner • Saturday, June 14 • 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. • Ticket: $35.00 • Alex Patchin McNeill, MLP’s new executive director, is our keynote speaker. Come and hear about the exciting things MLP is planning for the future. All are welcome! Light Presbyterians is a national pro-LGBTQ equality network of individuals, families, churches, and local chapters.

Worship Service atFort Street Presbyterian Church • Sunday, June 15 • 10:00 a.m. • Meet at COBO at 8:15 a.m. to Walk to the Church, Accompanied by FSPC Members • Lunch Provided for up to 200 Guests (Select a ticket with lunch, or without lunch, when you register.) • A multicultural congregation, Fort Street (www.fortstreet.org) has a 165 year-old history and a large, long-standing outreach to the homeless in Detroit. Generally considered a progressive faith community, FSPC is diverse in theology, ethnicity, race, national origin, education, politics, and location and circumstances of where worshippers live. Worship style is traditional, with a variety of elements reflecting diversity. The pastor is Sharon L. Mook.

He brings his personal and global experiences and perspectives to the examination of “the facts on the ground” in Palestine and Israel.
