OBJECTIVE ADA Site. SQUAD RECON (Area) – Conducted to obtain information about a specified location and the area around it. -In an area reconnaissance, the squad uses surveillance or vantage-points around the objective from which to observe it and the surrounding area.

  1. OBJECTIVE ADA Site SQUAD RECON (Area) – Conducted to obtain information about a specified location and the area around it. -In an area reconnaissance, the squad uses surveillance or vantage-points around the objective from which to observe it and the surrounding area. Planning Considerations and sequence of actions: • The leader may include a surveillance team in his recon of the objective from the ORP. -If required the leaders positions other surveillance elements about the objective. -After observing the objective for a specified time, all elements return to the RP and ORP and report their observations to the leader or the recorder. -Once all information is collected, it is disseminated to every soldier.   6. OBJECTIVE ADA Site -Observe/Recon the area to determine the best locations to observe from. -SL issues a 5-pt contingency plan and then sends out the recon teams.   8. OBJECTIVE ADA Site -After observing for designated time, return to the RP (link up point and quickly disseminate information (if possible)). Be ready to use running password, number combination, or challenge and password to reenter the ORP.
