Community Needs Assessment: Key Issues in Delaware County, Iowa

A state-wide survey gathered insights from 251 respondents, including 32 from Delaware County, Iowa, to evaluate community needs. Participants rated various issues as Very Important, Important, or Not Important. The top five concerns identified in Delaware County were strengthening families, improving youth health and well-being, enhancing nutrition and health outcomes, fostering economic development, and cultivating productive citizens and leaders. The survey • Conducted state-wide with same questions • Data collected locally for Region 11: Delaware, Dubuque & Jackson counties. • 32 respondents identified themselves as living or working in Delaware • 251 total took the survey (not all completed) • Some respondents did not indicate their county • Open-ended answers will be analyzed by program categories
