  3. CELEBRATIONS AND TRADITIONS The names of holidays that Germany celebrates are Nikolaustag,ChristmasEve,ChristmasDay. Nikolaustag takes place on December 6th. Christmas Eve takes December 24th. Christmas Day takes place on December 25th. On December 6thchildren place their shoe out side and St . Nicholas puts toys in the boots. On Christmas Eve the people of Germany decorate their Christmas trees and then they eat a feast of food. On Christmas Day people of Germany unwrap presents.
