The Late Date(13th Century) The Early Date(15th Century) Pharaoh Rameses II of the 19th Dynasty 1 Kings 6:1 tells us it was 480 years from the Exodus to the building of Solomon’s Temple The 480 years made up of 12 generations (12x40=480) but really each generation was shorter in duration Pharaoh Amenhotep II of the 18th Dynasty Reference to Rameses can be understood as a later “update” Genesis 47:11 makes reference to the “land of Rameses”

Exodus 1:1-5 Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob; they came each one with his household: 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah; 3 Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin; 4 Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher. 5 All the persons who came from the loins of Jacob were seventy in number, but Joseph was already in Egypt.

  25. Noah Moses His mother gets a basket (tb;Teä) Ordered to build an ark (tb;Teä) It will protect Noah and his family and the animals from the destruction of the flood. It will protect Moses from the destruction mandated by the pharaoh's orders. Moses is delivered from the waters of the Nile. Noah is delivered from the waters of the flood.

God, furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations” (3:15)
