Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times”.

  8. We will experience Joy! • Luke 9:24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. • Matthew 10:39, Matthew 16:25, Mark 8:35, Luke 17:33, John 12:25 • Hebrews 1:9 / Psalm 45:7 - You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

  9. We Will Honor God With Our Money. • Our spiritual maturity will be reflected in how we handle money. • Luke 16:10-15 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?“No servant can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight.

  10. Attitudes about giving • “Financial giving is not God’s way of raising money – it’s His way of raising children!” • Acts 20:32-35 • Athletes who squandered fortunes • Mike Tyson • Michael Vick • Scottie Pippen

  14. Fullness in the body of Christ • Ephesians 1:22-23 (NIV) And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. • The church is not a building • Ecclesia = Church • I Corinthians 12:12-27 • Christ is the head, we are the body
