General Guidelines: The boards emphasizes clinical vignettes that require you to recall small details you might remember from Medical School The questions assume you know the names of disorders, but rarely ask them So, for high-yield review, take a category of disorders and ask yourself what are the distinguishing clinical features of each disease in that category

  4. The vignettes are carefully written to provide only relevant details. There are no distracters or tricks in the vignettes. You do not have to understand all of the vignette to answer the question—usually only one fact is necessary. Answers will be in alphabetical order and “symmetrical” so that no feature predominates There may be pictures, structures, audio or video content, but this is rare
