I hope you will agree there is a lot of interesting work being done by our analysis and testing teams on FFW. To give credit where credit is due, the bulk of the work presented here is based on the efforts of our industry and government Integrated Analysis Team, comprised for the most part by individuals from the Science Applications International Corporation, and from the Training and Doctrine Command System Manager Soldier office at Ft. Use integrated modeling, simulation, and field testing to evaluate the combat effectiveness of the FFW system of systems. In that integrated process, we are assessing the COMBINED effectiveness of material solutions (hardware, software), how those solutions are distributed to the small combat unit, how the small combat unit is organized, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures needed to effectively employ all the above.
