  2. LoadMatch

  3. Wet Rotor Circulating Pump

  4. Twin Tee Wet Rotor Circulating Pump

  5. Eliminate: • Control valve • Balance valve Twin Tee Wet Rotor Circulating Pump

  6. Adjustments: • Will have to either increase flow or coil area as you along the • system. • Benefits: • Saves on piping. • Less pressure drop for circulator pump. • Eliminates control valve leaks. LoadMatch System

  7. Pumps

  8. Wet Rotor: • 20 year life. • Replacement cartridges cost around $150. • No need to remove pump to replace cartridge. • Can be variable speed. (300:1)

  9. Self Sensing: • Drive comes with pre-programmed curves. • Program can be edited in the field. • Provide shut-off head for maximum efficiency. • Standard dry run protection. • Can only be lead/lag. • Standard vibration isolation on drive.

  10. Chilled Beams

  11. Passive Beams

  12. Active Beams

  13. Design Considerations: • Chilled water should be between 55 and 60 deg. F. • Handles sensible load only. • Need DOAS system to handle latent load, ventilation requirements, and • pressurization. • Avoid openings to outdoors where using chilled beams. • Provide dewpoint sensor in room and at ceiling for each space. • Verify pressure in building stays positive. • Radiant cooling panels: 20-40 BTU/SF • Passive chilled beams: 120-150 BTU/SF • Active chilled beams: 400-750 BTU/SF LoFlo with Chilled Beams

  15. Features: • Pre-programmed controllers for standard equipment. • Graphic control interface controller brings in other controllers and • automatically creates graphics. • Web-based. • Uses NiagraAX framework. • Can communicate with LonWorks, BACnet IP, BACnet MSTP, and Modbus. • Only need to provide home screen graphics. • Truly open protocol. • Best used with light commercial and buildings with standard equipment.
