44th Plenary: ICT Standards for Smart Grids • ISACC recognizes the importance of standards for the use of ICTs in Smart Grids • ISACC members are participating in the CNC / IEC Task Force on Smart Grid Standards and NIST’s SGIP • ISACC is supportive of collaborative efforts among the GSC Members on Smart Grids Standards • ISACC has two Smart Grid contributions at GSC-16: • GSC16-PLEN-53 and -54 propose that Resolution GSC-15/29 (Smart Grids) be revised to recognize the importance of harmonized spectrum for Smart Grids
45th Plenary: Standards for ICT Accessibility • ISACC recognizes the importance of ICT Accessibility • ISACC members are very involved in ISO and ISO/IEC JTC 1 ICT Accessibility standardization • ISACC is investigating ICT Accessibility as a potential work item for the bi-lateral Canada-U.S. Regulatory Cooperation Council • ISACC has three contributions at GSC-16: • GSC16-PLEN-56 on Accessible Content in Digital Broadcast Environments; • GSC16-PLEN-57on ICT Accessibility Standardization; and • Draft Resolution GSC-16/27
