  3. 1. Change of TTC Officers • President: Prof. Mitsutoshi Hatori • CEO and SVP: Mr. Yoichi Maeda (new) • Secretary General: Mr. Noriyuki Shigeta • Director General of I3C: Dr. Fumihiko Tomita (new) • Adviser: Dr. Yuji Inoue (new)

Up-streaming activities to ITU-T • Substantial and preparatory discussions on the up-streaming activities of Japan to ITU-T are made by TTC Working Groups (WGs) and/or Advisory Groups (AGs), and their outcomes will be submitted to MiC ITU Sectional Mtg / ICT Council for authorization. • Examples:- UNI&NNI WG and Next-generation HN WG for SG15- IPTV WG for studies on IPTV in various SGs- NGN & FN WG for SG13 and IoT-GSI- ICT&CC WG for SG5

  5. 2-2. Up-streaming activities to ITU-T ITU-T Recs ITU-T Up-streaming MiC ICT CouncilITU Sectional Meeting Down-streaming TTC TTC Stds WGs / AGs participation/proposals NW operators, broadcasters, venders, user groups, etc.

  6. 2-3. Up-streaming activities to ITU-T • To make the discussions in TTC more substantial and efficient three WGs and two AGs have been newly established:- Optical fibre transmission WG for SG15- Numbering WG for SG2- Security WG for SG17- Multimedia AG for SG16- Cloud computing AG for FG Cloud

Strategic collaboration with other organizations • Memorandum of Understanding between ITU and CJK (ARIB, CCSA, TTA and TTC)(6 July, 2011)- 1st collaboration at CJK-11 Meeting in Miyazaki City during 14-16 March 2012 • Letter of Intent with GISFI (22 August, 2011)- 1st joint event : Seminar in Tokyo on 22 August, 2011- 2nd joint event: Workshop in March next year in Tokyo

Strategic collaboration with other organizations • Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) (12 October, 2011)- 1st joint event: Seminar – Importance of standards & migration to smarter network and greener technology in communications and multimedia industry on 12 October, 2011
