THE MANED WOLF (Chrysocyon brachyurus) By; Eryn Moore
Dusk • It’s the start of nighttime. I yawn and stretch, rising from the grass. The hunt has begun.
The Hunt • I stalk through the grass on my long, slender legs. I stop to take a few bites of the sweet sugar cane that grows in these steppes. At last I see what I’m seeking, and I leap on it.
Feast • One of my favorite foods is the armadillo, and I have found one! I tear into it.
