  1. New Exciting Changes at Dr. Schindler’s office

  2. I saw the previous slide on Facebook. Anyone who knows me knows that the part that my mom , society and the government think I do is very very far from what I really do. Although I might think I am as smart as House. I know I have a MUCH better bedside manner than he does and I do not have a drug problem. I think I am more of a mix of him, and the next two pictures.

  3. Marcus Welby MD was a TV show when I was a child which he was a kind, warm, friendly , caring doctor who knew his patients well. Sadly enough there has not been another doctor portrayed like that since then.

  4. Standard American Doctor • Average 7.5 minutes with each patient. • They see an average of 30 patients a day. • They are in a large group . • They have someone on call who may or may not know who you are and are more likely to send you to the Emergency Room. • Most do not email, text, give you their cell phone number, come in after hours to see you if necessary.

  5. It is not their fault ! We all know the medical system is broken ! It is designed for fast pace, volume driven and half the visit is taken up by documentation required by insurance as well as lawyers. (whether paper or computer)

My Previous Level of Care • I scheduled for 20min for usual visits and spend an average of 30 min. • I received emails, text messages, and everyone has access to my cell phone afterhours. • I listened to my patients , I know my patients, we work together to get an individual plan for them! • I go the extra mile for all my patients , and they all know that and appreciate it ! • I find alternative and cutting edge ideas .

  7. Its time to be SMARTER ! I want to go BEYOND Standard of Care !! I want to go even BEYOND my level of care ! That takes an investment of Time. I want to be able to continue or improve taking the time you should have/need/want and keep it so there is virtually no waiting! I want to have extra time to investigate even more new cutting edge ideas and new alternative ideas that go beyond standard of care.

  8. Concierge Practice • Schedule a 30min appointment one every hour. (or for physicals plan on an hour and sched 2) • Keep the patient base limited in number. • Virtually no wait . • Extra time available for improved follow-up, improved communication with other specialists. • Re-start doing my own hospital admissions instead of a hospitalist. • Continue 24/7 access via email, text, phone, Skype. • Home visit or office visit at your employment

Fees • Individuals under 50 years old: $150/month • Discounts for couples • Individuals 50 years and older: $200/month • Discounts for couples • Each additional child 0-26 years old: $60/month • Out of state or once/year visit patients: $700/year • New Family discount (2 adults, one child under 2 years old): $150/month

  11. Standard Fees Office visits will still be billed as usual to your insurance, and I would have to follow the rules of those insurances that I accept ( co-pays, deductibles) . I can offer a discount on the office visits for those who have insurances I do not accept or those without insurances if paid at the time of visit.

  12. Discounts and additional fees • 50% off hypnosis charges • 50% off HCG program • 50% off Meyers cocktails • Supplements continue to be at costs plus handling fee. • House-calls additional $50 • After hours calls additional $25 • $40 off “4th Room” services

Other changes soon Lounge (no longer Waiting Room)- will have samples of healthy foods, drinks, essential oils and presentations of new alternative and\or cutting edge ideas and technology . 4th Room- can be coupled with visit (replace the time that you used to wait for me with time spent with massage, reiki,acupuncture,essential oils, aromatherapy, health coach, private yoga instruction. Or our “4th room annex”- Suite Sweat- infrared sauna, or Visual Therapy Consultation room, sick room and 1 exam room, and then 4th room.

  14. Value !!!! What you have to ask yourself is what is the value of having a physician who truly cares about you, takes the time with you, respects your time and the extra years of better health that may lead to.
