  5. What does “value” refer to in art related terminology? The lightness or darkness of a color….or shades of a color.

  6. How do you make purple? mix blue and red

  7. How do you make intermediate colors? mix a primary color with a neighboring secondary color

  8. How do you make a “tint” of a color? Add white

  9. What is a triadic color harmony? One that uses colors that form a triangle on the color wheel… like red, yellow, and blue.
