  2. Halloween was originally a Celtic festival for the dead, celebrated on the last day of the Celtic year, October 31 The story says that the disembodied spirits of all those who had died would come back in search of living body to possess for the next year.

  3. People would dress up in all manner of ghoulish costumes and noisily parade around the neighborhood in order to frighten away spirits looking for bodies to possess.

  4. How it is called the custom when children go from house to house on Halloween to get small presents?

  5. ‘’Trick-or-treating’’ The more presents they receive ‘soul cakes’ , the more prayers they would promise to say on behalf of the dead relatives of the donors.
