  1. Do Now Suppose our class groups are beginning a lab. Consider the following situations and describe (using complete sentences) an accident that might happen as a result. • Student A likes to wear her long hair loose. That day in lab we use fire to cause a chemical reaction. • A chemical solution is being heated in a glass container. Student B hates to wear his glasses or safety goggles because he thinks they look uncool. • The instructions look boring, so students in group C just look at what other people are doing in class, to figure out what to do. • Student D thinks it would be amusing to sit on the lab surface. It is lots of fun and he becomes very lively.
