  2. Character Description Paragraph: Example Tristan Tristan is an important character in “Cat on the Go” who has positive personality traits. For example, when he rubs Oscar on the cheek and realizes it is purring, Tristan does not want to put the cat down. Instead he wants to try to save the cat. This shows how much he loves animals. Secondly, Jim, the veterinarian, says “I was glad of Tristan’s nimble fingers.” This shows that Tristan is good with his hands during surgery. Finally, once Oscar got better, Tristan liked to play with him. The story says that Tristan would “push his leg round the corner of the table and withdraw it repeatedly just as the cat pawed at it.” This also reveals how much Tristan likes animals. Overall, Tristan is a likable character with good personality traits.
