  2. Strategies 1 • Be on time or early for lectures • Do the reading assigned both from the text book and Scripture • Make chapter summaries to cement your learning • Use the chapter tests as a learning aid

  3. Strategies 2 • Timetable the assessment due dates • Use Outlook Calendar • Get a Buddy to help you learn (test your mastery) • Use the chapter tests as a study aid • Ask questions, there are no silly questions in my classes; there are just questions

  4. Strategies 3 • Identify your assumptions and beliefs about scripture. Write them down. • Park them somewhere safe • Be open to new learning which may challenge you • Be not afraid. You will not lose your faith! • Remember: • Faith is not afraid to ask questions

  5. Strategies 4 • Do read beyond the textbook • A good Bible Dictionary is helpful • Use the Net (with Discretion) • http://www.itanakh.org/ • Use Journals to find short articles on a topic • Talk to me, I am here to assist your study journey
