Main project objectives • Stimulation of the students’ creativeness • Realization of children’s ideas • Awakening of children’s imagination • Cooperation and including the young (students) into broader activitieswithinthecommunities. • Closer cooperation between local community and our school ( sports, creative workshops, European village, Christmas fair…)

Specific project objectives • Awakening of a feeling for pedagogical education of the external mentors. • Introducingdifferent activities of the school to thebroader local community. • Introducing the school’sachievements to the external participants of the project. • Enlarginggeneral knowledge of students and the chances forindividual research work.

  4. Target groups • The students of primary schools • Teachers - mentors • Parents - mentors • Local community (the representatives) • Other external guests from otherparts of theregion

Project activities / various projects within the main one • Creativity-relaxation workshops (horse- riding, fishing, aircraft, mycology, fire brigade, army, police…) • The Eco-school as a way of life ( many activities within the whole year project) • Christmas fair ( each class prepares its own stand with different products) • European village (whole year project ) • The school parliament • International cooperation- foreign partner school (Slovenia – Austria / The colourful time window Herberstein – Gironcoli)

Project methods and procedures • Research work (searching for historical and science sources, seminar works, interviews, computer handling...) • Creative skills of the students (production of things from different materials, art products...) • Drama plays (ideas and plan of a ceratin play, acting, the choice of the costumes) • Searching for new recognitions, lawfulness and qualities

Project results • Atthe end of the project each target group havesummariseditswork and its important findings. • The students and their mentors havepresented their results and the realization of the desired aims. They have also explained some of the eventual problems, which have appeared during the process of the project. • The groups have achieved different results depended on the topic of the workshop. • There are also some crucial findings which are important for all groups. These are: • Social interaction • Communication with different experts • Everlasting experiences, which cannot be obtained within the basic school program.

  9. Project sustainability • The realization of the students’ interests • With team work of mentors from local community, teachers from school and students, we tried to achieve our aims and introduce them to the public.
