  3. Martin’s Email • Hi • I think I understand the intention of this presentation (because I know you both)....but (and I may be a bit sensitive here) - it seems as though this presentation makes an assumption/ implies that "we" (the clinicians) don't value the work of the non-clinical members of the team......for those who don't know you - I am a bit concerned that this may make people uncomfortable (maybe I'm overthinking it).........your delivery will be really critical in pulling this off without eliciting this response.............feedback - with apologies - take it or ignore it....I totally trust your intent • Cheers • M

  4. What this workshop is not… • a dumping ground on clinical practice • an “us” vs. “them” session

  5. What this workshop is… • a response to the post-convention survey last year • a recognition that finance, environmental services, facility management, quality, health information, nutrition service, security, are components of quality care. • a humorous workshop to recognize & discuss the role all of us play in delivering care to our community

  6. cli·ni·cian • Pronunciation: • \kli-ˈni-shən\ • Function: • noun 1: a person qualified in the clinical practice of medicine, psychiatry, or psychology as distinguished from one specializing in laboratory or research techniques or in theory 2: a person who conducts a clinic
