  2. Tuesday Whole Step The combination of two half steps equals the movement of one whole step

  3. Wednesday Time Signature The symbol at the beginning of a musical selection that tells you how many beats are in one complete measure. It also tells you how many beats a whole note will receive. (It looks like a fraction.)
