Our objectives • Develop a Strategy to identify and prioritise the environmental, economic and social needs within Warrington • Develop and implement a delivery plan • Encourage better communication between partners and more appropriate information for the local community • Stimulate better co-ordination of service provision • Oversee public expenditure in order to better align and coordinate the use of resources • Ensure that all-important subject areas are covered by appropriate initiatives/partnerships • Develop greater trust between partners • Jointly develop creative solutions to problems

Achievements 2014-15 Oversight, scrutiny and challenge • Regular reports from: • Community Safety Partnership • Delivering Wellbeing in Bewsey and Dallam • Skills Steering Group; Homelessness PAG; Alcohol PAG; • Presentations and updates on: • Narrowing the Gap in Educational Attainment • Promoting Wellbeing for Older People, and Warrington Ageing Better • Local Development Plan • Studio School and UTC • Primary Care Home (now Warrington Health Plus)

  12. Horizon scanning • Local challenges –new homes target, transport infrastructure, changing population, complex needs, engaging local people in public service reform • Work started but still a priority – skills and employment, homelessness, alcohol harm and welfare reform
