  1. Warm Ups: Morphemes Gloss August-December

  2. Do Now: Take out the following: • Your notebook (or paper for now) for notes. • Your letter of introduction and place it on your desk (thank you to those who emailed it) • Signed syllabus slip (if you have it early. It’s due Friday)

  3. (groaning) Why??? No dictionary? No problem. Once you can identify morphemes that make up a word, you will be able to come up with a definition on your own! You will also see that a lot of words we use are similar to each other, even though they may not have anything to do with each other!

  4. What to do Each Day -When you come in, take out your notebook -Copy the chart you see on the board -Study the chart at home. 5 sets a day! Copy everything you see! Quizzes: Always the last day of the week This will start today!
