Leadership Opportunitiesat the Club Level Club leaders should... • Encourage new members to join club committees and aspire to future leadership positions • Delegate responsibilities and receive new ideas positively • Train members to become new leaders • Allow potential leaders to function as a complement to the experience of veteran leaders • Large committees may use vice chairmen in order to train future chairmen • Develop prospective leaders through mentoring.
Basic Responsibilities ofClub Leaders • Attend all club meetings • Perform duties as designated by the President or Board • Make reports as required • Attend area meetings, district conferences and, if possible, biennial conventions.
