Elijah was… Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. Elijah’s Problems were not the Problem Others have faced worse • Gov’t authorities • Bloody religions • Ostracized • Tortured • Killings Elijah’s problem was the same as ours – He lost his focus.
We can lose OUR focus, in an instant Matthew 25:24-25 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Or, We Can Focus in on True Faith Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Do you believe God’s word?
Or, We Can Focus in on True Faith Romans 8:36-39 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ? Or, We Can Focus in on True Faith Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Do you believe God’s word?
Or, We Can Focus in on True Faith Hebrews 13:5-6 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper;I will not fear;what can man do to me?” Do you believe God’s word?

Take a stand in faithful, working, obedience.
