Politics - The CR is a parliamentary democracy • The House of Deputies (200 members) • The Senate (81 members) re-introduced in 1996 - The executive branch is represented by the government and the president. - President appoints the Prime minister,usually from a winning party, to form a government.

  10. Kutná Hora • A medieval ming town, which became rich of its silver deposits • Church of St.Barbara is famous for historical centre in Kutná hora. • Church of St.Barbara is gothic architecture built. The built was begun to built in 1388, but wasn’t completeduntill 1905.

  11. Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape • This chateaux complex is in South Moravia. • The chateaux complex is combination of Baroque and Neo-Gothic styles stands in the largest park in the CR.

  13. Kroměříž Castle and Gardens • Kroměříž Castle was a summer residence of Olomouc bishops • Kroměříž’s palace is considered a Baroque architecture • The castle houses have an art collection,including works by Titian.

  14. Litomyšl Castle • Litomyšl Castle is one of the most important examples of Renaissance architecture in Czech Republic • It is an important venue for cultural events, the most popular is opera festival Smetana’s Litomyšl
