  3. ACT - SAT • You may have to take these exams for 2 reasons: 1. Meet the FSA Reading requirement You need a 19 in the Reading section OR an 18 in the average of the English and Reading sections. You can also meet the Algebra 1 requirement with a 16 in ACT Math. 2. College Admission- need a specific score to start with college classes vs remedial classes. For the ACT is 19 in Reading/17 in Writing and 20 in Math. For the SAT is 24 Reading/Writing and 27 in Math.

Pay the bookkepper, give the receipt to Ms. Boyd. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION- not needed for SCF or MTC. State Universities- YES!   5. FINANCIAL AID- OPENS OCTOBER 1ST FLORIDA FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION (FFAA)- includes Bright Futures and 11 other scholarships. FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)- is based on financial need and requires parents’taxes. FAFSA WORKSHOPS- all high schools will have a workshop to help fill out the FAFSA.
