  2. DOB and Death John Quincy Adams was born on July 11, 1767 and died on February 23, 1848.

  3. Importance in the War Adams was elected a U.S. Representative by Massachusetts after leaving the office, this made him the only president to do so. He aimed most of his life against slavery and he became a enemy of Slave Power and he said that if a civil war came upon that the president could demolish slavery with his War Powers.

  4. Importance in the War John Quincy Adams means that since he was against slavery if a war ever broke out because of slavery that he was try to destroy all slavery in the North and South with his powers since he is the president.
