  2. William Addis was the first person to invent the first toothbrush.William was born in 1734 ,he died in 1808.

  3. William Addis invented the toothbrush in 1780.The patent of the toothbrush was made in November 7, 1857 submitted by H.N Wadsworth to the U.S. patent & Trademark Office.

  4. This invention was invented to keep teeth clean.It is a large plastic stick with bristles on the end.

  5. The toothbrush changed the way things were done during the Industrial Revolution. Before the toothbrush was inventedpeople had a disease called (Gingivitis Disease) .

  6. There is a newer version of the toothbrush today, a electric toothbrush or the toothbrushes with plastic bristles.
