  2. POOR PEOPLE DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH CLOTHES MOST OF THEIR CLOTHES WERE DIRTY AND RIPPED OFF. RICH WOMEN HAD ALOTE OF CLOTHES THEY WERE ALWAYS CLEAN AND NEAT . WHAT DID THEY WEAR ?

  3. AT WHAT AGE DID THE BOYS OF ANCIENT GREECE GO TO SCHOOL AND WHAT DID THEY LEARN AT SCHOOL? Boys were sent to a boarding school at the age of 6. In schools, science or math were not considered important subjects, students could hardly read even after they were out of school. Teachers mostly cared about raising good soldiers.

  4. GIRLS WERE MARRIED AT AGE 14 AND YOUNGER ARE FIVE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO DIE OF PREGENANCY OR CHILIDBIRTH THAN WOMEN AGES 20 TO 24. AT WHAT AGE WERE GIRLS MARRIED ?

  5. WHAT KINDS OF JOBS DID RICH/ POOR WOMEN HAVE? POOR WOMEN CLEAN HOUSES AND HAD NO EDUCATION DIDN’T ALWAYS HAVE ALOTE OF MONEY TO EAT OR BUT THEMSELVES SOME CLOTHES. RICH WOMEN HAD EDUCATION AND GOT WHATEVER THEY WANT DIDN’T WORK BECAUSE THEY HAD ALOTE OF MONEY .

The girls in ancient Greece did not go to school, what did they do instead? • They learnt to read- in school or at home. • They learnt important household skills-spinning, weaving, sewing, cooking and other household jobs. • Learnt simple facts on mythology, religion and occasionally musical instruments. • Spent most of their time in her household with other women- only leaving the house to perform religious duties.

  7. What kinds of toys did the children play with and what kinds of games did they play? • THEY PLAYED BOARED GAMES • War games and fighting with sticks was another common pastime, especially in militaristic. • Also in Greece, hunting and fishing were common activities.

  8. What role did the men and women and children have in ancient Greece? • the women of Sparta were granted an equal stake in the success or failure of their state. They had to take care of the house and do all the house work. • Men had to go to war and fight while they left their family behind. • Children at age 6 were working to help there family out some of them couldn’t even go to school .

  9. What games could the women of Greece take part in ? • The Agora was an open "place of assembly" in an ancient Greek city-state. • THERE WAS WHERE ALL THE GAMES WERE HELD.
