    8. In The Classroom It can be use for anything! Really! You can develop a PowerPoint where it can be interactive for students to do more things such as guessing games or answering true/false question.  You can use almost any computer games that just require a few mouse click.  There are a lot of possibilities.  For example you can see the picture on the left, the class is study about the heart and other organs.  It is a good way to label on an actual images instead of labeling on the teacher's art work that could be stick people or stick heart.  That is one possibilities.

    9. The Future .21st Century Street Talk: "Hello! to SMART Board... Bye! Bye! to Chalk Dust." The SMART Board Harness Computer Muscle and Control it via the Touch Screen Surface of this 5-ft. White Board. SMART Board is an Interactive White Board. By touching it, your finger is a mouse, or a color marker. What you write on it is SAVED as a Computer File.

    10. My Opinion for the Smart Board I would definitely use the Smart Board in the classroom. For the student, it can increase the mobility and accessibility to technology, uses multi-sensory stimulation to focus student’s attention and at the same time, the instructor’s computer is visible to the whole class.

    11. Advantages Increase students engagement Accommodates many learning styles Improve overall student learning The use of colors attracts student’s attention to the board Students with special needs can enjoy board use All ages of students respond favorably to board use The teacher at the front of the class and the whole class engaged together One-computer classroom can maximize the use of limited computer access Proved to be successful subjects as Fine Arts, Special Education, Computer Education Physical Education, Business & Marketing, and Language Arts.

    12. Disadvantages Some reports have stated that there is a great deal of higher motivational increase, but the data makes it unclear if this effect does wear off after familiarity sets in. Do students lose their interest and their motivation after the board becomes part of their classroom environment and learning? Also, dos the board keep the student’s attention for a large part of their school year? Questions like these are still being researched on how the smart board can keep the student’s motivation for learning at a high level. For the teacher’s: a) too many wires b) PC friendly not Mac friendly, c) technical problems----too many frequent recalibrations for the systems d) setup time in the classroom is an issue e) some of the electrical and data wires to go to all the different components created a large amount of wire clutter f) issue of a shadow on the board by the students and teachers while they were using the board.
