What the system does as a whole? • Automated General Ledger System is the summary of accounting reports such as: • Balance sheet • Income Statement • General ledger • Transaction covered of AGLS • Downloading of supporting document • Journal Entry Voucher of every department • a. Disbursement • b. Revenues • Chart of accounts • a. General funds • b. Others • Accounting templates

  3. Queries • User log in • Downloading of supporting documents • Transfer of journal entry voucher to AGLS • Validation of JEV if bad entry or good entry • Saving JEV to database • Reports • Balance sheet • Income statement • General ledger reports

  4. Special Technology • Submission of supporting documents will be automated meaning no paper works will be send to AGLS. • Sending SMS for forgot password • Document extraction into MS excel file, MS word file, Adobe PDF file. • Major difference from other similar system • AGLS is integrated with other subsystem under LGU.
