The Green Cup competition at UC Berkeley promotes sustainability among Greek life by encouraging energy-saving measures. This event engaged students for four months of planning followed by two months of competition, during which fraternity and sorority houses compete to reduce energy consumption. In 2011, winners achieved a remarkable 40% reduction in energy use. The initiative includes outreach programs, a sustainable living guide, and installations like low-flow showerheads. Join us in fostering a greener campus and celebrating the achievements of our student leaders.
