  29. How Effective Leaders Deal with the “Dip” • They know that change is a process, not an event. • They don’t panic, they manage the “dip” • They encourage staff to continue with their efforts. • They “launch” an initiative and make adjustments based on data. • They listen. 2011 GPAEA
