Beowulf is brave. “you have come bravley, and are welcome.(line 130)” Beowulf came to the place, right away, bravley. Beowulf is a great king. “That my duty was to go to the Danes’ Great King (lines 150-151) Beowulf is refered to as “Great King” Beowulf promises to get rid of Grendal with his barehands. “Might think less of me if I let my sword Go where my feet were afriad to. (lines 165-166)

  4. Beowulf’s last battle Beowulf would rip his limbs off. “Like Grendel, gripped in my hands and torn Limb from limb. (line 615-616) Beowulf tears the dragon appart. Beowulf will not be afraid. “I meant to stand, not run from his shooting Flamers, stand till fate decides. Line (620-621)” Beowulf is very brave. Beowulf bases everything of fate. “To its fate. Flames beat at the iron Shield, and for time it held. (lines 665-666) The shield held the flames because of fate. The dragon knew there was war. “Knowing a man had come and then nothing but war could have followed. (line 650-651” There was going to be a great battle.

  5. The Death of Beowulf Beowulf is tough. “Beowulf spoke, in spite of the swollen, livid wound. (lines736-737) He didn’t silence, just because he was hurt. Beowulf would love to leave his son his armor. “Id leave my armor to my son, now if God had given me an heir. (lines 742-743) Beowulf has no son, therefore he cant leave his armor to anyone. He is content with dying at this point in time. “I can leave this life happy; I can die, here” (lines 751-752) He is happy, because he killed many evil things. Beowulf told Wextons son about treasure. “A brave young warrior saw piles of gleaminig gold.” (line 769) He gave him the treasure because he was dying.
